The Social Pedagogy Professional Association has officially started promoting it’s ‘Advocating a social pedagogic approach to well-being’ campaign. This page is our central campaign page for the public, and will be updated regularly with campaign progress and new resources.

What are we campaigning for?

We are campaigning to increase the recognised value of professional training and development in social pedagogy across the UK. Those practicing social pedagogy are concerned with the formation and on-going development of the whole person – their physical, emotional, intellectual and social well-being is central to social pedagogic practice. The Social Pedagogy Professional Association (SPPA) believes the increased recognition of social pedagogy will have a significant positive impact on individual and societal well-being.
