The International Journal of Social Pedagogy is a publication reflecting the cross-cultural perspectives of a wide range of social pedagogical traditions and providing a greater understanding of social pedagogy in ways that are both relevant at a practice level and contribute to the body of theory and research. As an open access journal published by the Centre for Understanding Social Pedagogy at the UCL Institute of Education in partnership with ThemPra, all articles are available free of charge.

IJSP welcomes articles that demonstrate innovative contributions which can show the dynamics and the potential of social pedagogy from researchers, scholars, educators, policy-makers, and practitioners in social pedagogy and related fields. Articles that show scholarly depth, breadth or richness of different aspects of social pedagogy are particularly welcome.
